Hello, I’m Sue Selbie, the artist behind these Greenstitch. My work is all about celebrating color, whimsy, and the joy that comes from spending time in nature.
Most of my tea towel patterns are inspired by the plants growing in my own garden and the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest. I feel lucky to live right beside Portland’s Forest Park — a daily reminder of how much creativity nature brings into our lives.
My love of the outdoors began in the English countryside, where I grew up surrounded by wildflowers and birds. Those early days outside still guide me, and I carry that sense of wonder into every design.
My hope is that these designs bring a spark of joy to your home, just as creating them does for me.
